Waimapu at McCarrolls Farm

Site Info:	This site was installed in June 1990 as part of the Tauranga Harbour investigations and forms part of the Natural Environmental Regional Monitoring network. River level, flow and rainfall are measured at the site. Summer water levels at this site can get as low as 0.3 metres, but normal water levels are closer to 0.4 metres. A high flood level of 3.1 metres was recorded at this site in May 2001.
