Site Info:

The Waipapa site is situated near Whakamarama in the hills to the south of the Tauranga Harbour.

Summer water levels at this site can get as low as 0.26 metres, but normal water levels are closer to 0.43 metres. A high flood level of 2.0 metres was recorded at this site in February 1984.

The site records an annual rainfall of 2000 mm and daily falls of up to 190mm.
