The 2004 Ballance Farm Environment Awards ceremony was a lunchtime event held on Tuesday 6 April at the Rotorua Convention Centre and Laurie and Joy Shearer were named the Supreme Award Winners for the Bay of Plenty.
Their property, "Seaview Farm" located on Te Matai Road, Te Puke, also won the Richmond Best Livestock Farm Award.
